The digestive system is the foundation of our health and wellbeing. We are what we eat, digest, distribute and absorb. Through years of poor eating habits, wrong food combining, nutrient deficient dietary choices and other factors like stress, puts strain on this system and its ability to contribute to our health instead of being the source of our dis-ease.

Keeping  a good and constant flow within the intestines is a prerequisite for ensured longevity and healing. Healing a leaky gut and the intestinal lining can take time, but is possible. Lifestyle changes are a must though.

No probiotic bought from a pharmacy will be sufficient to heal the gut microbiome, the intestinal flow and close those tight junctures to ultimately restore health.  A strong and resilient gut calls for a variety of plant fibers and supportive foods, outdoor activity in diverse atmospheres. Also the elimination of toxic foods that feed internal fungi, yeast, mucus, viruses and intestinal muck will be a good step forward in your healing regime.

Good deep abdominal breathing to boost oxygen distribution to the area of the gut and lower abdomen to seal the deal.

Blood Health

Blood feeds our cells with all the essential nutrients and building blocks necessary to maintain the process of shedding old cells and building resilient new cells. 

 Food and a healthy ‘digestive fire’ feeds our blood with the nutrients extracted and derived from the food we eat through the process of digestion, assimilation and distribution.  

A good circulation system allows the blood to reach every cell within the body matrix.

A strong respiratory system and function help the blood pumped by the heart by controlling the pressure and secure the integrity of the vascular system.

Healing the gut and the intestines (microbiome) is essential for health and mental clarity. 70% of our immune system cells are located within our gut. A healthy gut is responsible for manufacturing hormones like serotonin and minimizing inflammation in the body in a big way (leaky gut syndrome).

​

Our food cravings are generally due to the bacteria in our gut aiming to stay alive by sending signals of cravings for the specific food groups that feed them and help them to thrive. Depending on the bacterium (beneficial or detrimental to our health) present in large amounts will determine our food cravings and food choices. Resetting the gut microbiome is possible through elimination diets and introducing plenty of fiber rich foods (plants). This may require some will power to stay on track with your eating program. To successfully eliminate refined sugars and simple carbohydrates, fats, over salty and artificial flavorings can be challenging as eating is closely linked to our emotional responses and stress. 

 

A flush can reset the gut and your craving responses much quicker and restore a healthy amount of beneficial bacteria within a week or two as the foundation to build on with better choices and habits regarding food and digestion.

For some people elaborate changes in choices and behavior can fall into sustainable living, but for most a slow start is the better route here.

Ensuring long-term change in habits within daily life, incremental tweaking will form a solid foundation for increased momentum of health and healing to follow spontaneously.

 

Follow a diet has never turned out to be successful in the long term. Only lifestyle living ensures a wellness in being and quality living. â€‹

​

Quality living is the clarity and response-ability we gain in our experiences on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels of being.

​

For me quality living means:

  • the knowing that I have the tools to manage my stress,

  • the ability to respond better to life's challenges,

  • the result of aging as an increased amount of higher emotions such as contentment, joy, happiness and love, 

  • body integrity, mental clarity, emotional stability.

​

Quality life is attainable. We all have trauma and blockages due to our past experiences. To enable healing on all levels it is crucial to embody cellularly. 

​

We are:

Cells = Tissues

Tissues = Organs

Organs = Systems

Systems = Body

Cellular nutrition starts in the kitchen!

Cellular oxygenation requires not only oxygenation but hydration, circulation, mineralization, detoxification and so forth.
